We understand how important it is that your donations are used effectively and exclusively for veterans in crisis. It's important to us, too. That's why we work hard to gain your confidence in our organization by being accountable and transparent.
Save A Vet Now was founded as a 501(c)3 charity on July 24, 2019 focused solely on Veteran Suicide Awareness and Prevention. We are proud to say our organization is operated by unpaid volunteers, with no exceptions. While some administrative costs are incurred, there are no payroll or overhead costs involved. All of the 2020 donations received from fundraisers were given to the Coastal Horizons Veterans Outreach Program and were specifically earmarked for the treatment of veterans in North Carolina’s Brunswick, New Hanover, and Pender Counties. Save A Vet Now’s 2019 tax forms were prepared by Trust Ledger Inc. and filed on February 18th, 2020. That filing is open to public inspection. Trust Ledger is currently preparing and filing our 2020 tax forms. As is our policy, that filing, when available, will be open to public inspection.
