Save A Vet Now has partnered with Wilmington, North Carolina based Coastal Horizons, Inc. to create the SAVN Veteran’s Outreach Program. This program will provide those veterans seeking help with an opportunity to receive effective and meaningful mental health treatment in their own Pender, New Hanover, or Brunswick county community.  A special fund at Coastal Horizons for Veterans will ensure that an array of treatment services will be available for Veterans – without any financial barriers.

Services will include comprehensive assessments, outpatient treatment for both substance use and mental health disorders, and integrated primary care. This array of services can be accessed at any of three outpatient locations in Brunswick, New Hanover and Pender counties. Coastal Horizons, a Wilmington based service provider is well known and highly respected.

They have professional staff to prescribe, as needed, both psychiatric and addiction treatment medications, peer support professionals who share their own lived experiences, and those who can assist with other supportive services. Coastal Horizons has made the commitment to be trauma-informed, is equipped to work with those suffering from PTSD, and is a Veteran-friendly and welcoming organization.
